Andrea Sauceda :: Founder is a mother of two, born but not raised in San Antonio. My father was Air Force and I am sympathetic to the uprooting and re-planting of the military life. I watched as my mother networked with each move to build a new circle of friends. With twin daughters and me a few years behind, it wasn't always easy for Mom to get out of the house and mingle, especially when Dad was sent away - sometimes in the states and other times out of the country. I returned to San Antonio with my family right after high-school. Dad decided to retire where both my parents call home – San Antonio.

I met the man of my dreams, got married and began climbing my way to the top of Corporate America. I worked for a very well known International Bank as a Sales Trainer in the National Training Department. A great job! I was well respected by my peers and traveled to some fantastic places to train for the bank. Then I became a mother… Isn't it amazing how a person so little can change your priorities and make the things you once thought were so important seem secondary? I now had Veronica, a bundle of pure little girl. I couldn't find enough hair bows and dresses to make me feel better when I was in a hotel room in Chicago or New York. I continued to work until a few years later when I was blessed with Joel, my little man! I decided to hang up my business suits and trade them in for burp towels and baby blankets.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying home with my children, but sometimes found it lonely with no other adults to talk with. My friends were working during the day and with two little ones, it wasn't easy to get out and make new friends. Now I know how my mom must have felt. I have developed this site for all moms... whether you stay at home with your little ones and are looking for great places to venture out or you're a working mom who needs a great resource at your fingertips.
